Getting paid to draw has been pretty fun these past few months. This client needed a book cover illustration.
So this was drawn like, two years ago. It’s awful and super crude. Armstrong only existed as a script and I wanted to see it as art (I was discouraged after I drew this). It’s experimental and gross, but the beginnings of anything always is. For awhile, it was supposed to be the typical vertical format, but it never felt right.
Also – the reference pose in the top panel is from when Batman punches Superman.
Also also – I might have posted this before, I dunno.
Also also also – don’t judge the fist in the 2nd panel.
